All the participants of the PMA course are fulltime missionary volunteers with the Family International, and rely largely on the support of helpful individuals and businesses to cover material and financial needs. Students who participated in the PMA program have been sponsored partially or in full by friends and patrons of the Family International's work, and even by strangers who considered this training to be a worthy cause. These donations made it possible for hundreds of young missionaries to receive training that will enhance their ability to help others in many facets of missionary work, including spiritual counseling, life coaching, youth ministries, Bible teaching, social and humanitarian assistance, seminars, fund raising, etc.
